-
14 March 2018
by Carina Lechner
The first day was dedicated to provide the status and future outlook on the µTP pilot line, as well as on developments in micro-transfer-printing for high sensitivity magnetic sensors and optical sensors. Moreover, discussions on design support activities took place. Afterwards, the partners had the chance to check out the clean room and gain deeper insights in the upcoming processes. In the evening, all participants met again for a delicious dinner where conversations continued in a less formal atmosphere.
The second day focused on micro-transfer-printing for silicon photonics, as well as LED devices and biomedical plant applications. Furthermore, some administrative issues have been discussed, and preparations for the upcoming review and face2face meeting took place.
Summing up, it was a very productive and engaging meeting with great discussion which will foster collaboration and lead to innovative results in the near future.
