The MicroField team recently gathered at a partner research facility for a two-day working meeting. Across the two days, participants worked through the progress of the various technical work packages in detail and addressed the management matters that keep a multi-strand programme on track. Holding the sessions on site made it straightforward to move between discussion and demonstration as questions arose.
The meeting closed with a guided tour of the host's advanced research laboratories, which gave the team a first-hand look at the equipment and methods behind several of the techniques under discussion.
